I have been staying busy playing with my new foal that was born April 25, 2005. I have been teaching him how to lead, walk on a tarp, yield to pressure, all that fun stuff. If you are casting hypertufa, plaster or concrete in your new silicone mold you will need to build a casing for it. If you only plan to use the mold for one casting you should make a simple plaster cover. The fastest way to do this is by using plaster of Paris. Mix it and soak some strips of cloth in it and build up over your mold. You should go for at least ¾" thickness.
